This is so fucking true. This is half the reason why I buy my games on Steam now and don't even bother with those fuckholes unless I need like a 3DS game or something. Honestly, I'm tired of being gimmicked and upselled to death when I go to buy a game there. It never used to be this way, but I got wind from a GS store manager that they are losing business to programs like Steam. They don't realize that all this shit theyre trying to shove down people's throats is not going to help boost their sales, it really just makes people avoid them because customers REALLY don't like to be incessantly badgered to spend their money. ONE offer is okay, but really, stop there. I've actually put my game down and said "forget it guys" in a similar fashion to this.

Anyway, enough of my ranting. While I'm not a fan of the "individual body part tween" style animation (its too reminiscent of the budget saving cheap ass animation style of today's kid's cartoons.. its used EVERYWHERE and is really not appealing..) It was decent nontheless, and funny. Good concept, but it could have been seriously amped up in hilarity with some hand drawn expressions. The voices were great though, albeit a little quiet. It seems like you have a lot of animation under your belt already, so I hope you don't mind this critique. :3

Not at all dude. I'll be the first to admit I'm not a frame by frame animator becasue I suck at it. My style has always been a more cut out South-Parky style because that's just how I like to operate.

What is everyone talking about, a flash doesnt have to be long to be good. :T You had the perfect buildup to the perfect punchline, that's all you need.
Making this longer would be like trying to tell a joke while being too wordy and taking forever to get to the point, boring the person out of finding it funny by the time you get to the end.
This is short but sweet with good animation, exactly what it needs to be. <3

I just want you to know

This flash was the very thing that got me into the Professor Layton series. I'd write reviews for every one of the parts but that would be redundant, this whole series is just awesome. Its too bad you aren't going to make any more. Still, thank you for making these and helping me discover an awesome series of games. :D
